This video reminds me of my mandatory two-year military service in a self-contained infantry unit. Our military training began with the handling of small arms during the apprenticeship with the Soviet SKS. it is a Soviet 7.62-39mm-M43 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a 10-round magazine with its war alias "Simonov"..The Soviet SKS and the stripped-down version of the SVT-40 and its little brother the SVT -38

These were so unreliable the Russians went back to bolt action. It wasn't because of only just the rifle but the care of it. It was over gassed and needed to be tuned in the field. The dirtier it become the more over gassed it become and would eventually crack the stock. The case would stick in the chamber and the bolt would rip the rim off. It needed maintenance, not something you got with untrained emergency soldiers. Later they used more of them but those soldiers were trained in it's care. Oldest military round still in use.

Probably one of the most solid self loading rifle patterns of world war 2. The m1 garand is also superb for its time being pushed into service a little before the SVT in 1936. M1 garand is a little heavier and a bit more expensive with the gas system. SVT is simplicity in a semiauto rifle, and along with the SKS, we’re really solid platforms, only sucky part about most Soviet guns is poor ammunition quality, and that goes for litterally everything they fielded

For those who don't know what a clip is: He used a clip to load the magazine
I think my heart leaped when I saw that SVT being placed on the table
Xin giá
Beat me to it.
Old guns are just so awesome. Look at those rounds. Devastating compared to the 223/556 todya
Ill and sad people Love killing objects
kzworld.infoVCuOEGtJLdo?feature=share смотри как хаймерс горит
@Qazan Basik
Such a satisfying video. The sounds, the bullets wrapped in wax paper and string. The medal bullet guide that pops out like “DING” Love It
Potência de impacto enorme
Wish you could find more available surplus of these on the US market.
@Алексей Бойченко 😁😁😁
I recently acquired one of these, my new favorite rifle.
I shot that weapon at 16 years old on a rifle teams and I fell in love with it
this is so beautiful.
Outstanding Pvt Pyle I think we've finally found something that you do well
Still one of my most favorite underrated soviet rifles. More games need to have this.
Wtf, no
Stalcraft
I Like KAR 98 ( this Timeline )
@Sarty what another WW2 propaganda film
Beautiful piece of hardware!
What a beauty. I have my dad's. This makes me want to take it for a spin.
Now this is the type of ASMR that I like 😍
Beautiful film work my friend. Deserves an Emmy.
Great shooting Especially with this fine iron sights And that turd of a rifle Lol They just never quit 😂😂 Love the 54r
To slam the metal target so hard that you broke a chain holding it up is a good feeling of power
It's a hand cannon
Sort have to be able to hit the target for it to slam into anything.
@FartInYourFace234 nevermind
@David Moore yet, if it were secured properly the spalling would have been mitigated
@FartInYourFace234 no. Repeated spalling wore down the chain
Hungarian ammo? I'm surprised that my country have this kind of old surplus ammo. A few years ago I also watched a video about old eastern block weapons. The guy bought a crate of FEG PA-63.
That's so God damn satisfying. Awesome rifle!
Beautiful rifle and in great shape too!
Tokarev?
It was a shame the SVT40 was not distributed in huge numbers due to logistical issues during ww2. Great rifle. This brings back my memories of playing red orchestra 2 as a Russian. The Russians also made the AVT40 - a fully automatic version of this rifle which was useless but undoubtedly cool.
Holy moly, that thing is powerful
Cool to see how similar the svt is to the sks
Imagine reloading this clip while the enemy is getting close
Finally! Someone loads an SVT-40 without removing the magazine!
@In Memory of Fran Coiledidn't you see him removing the magazine? It was the very first thing he did.
@In Memory of Fran Coile i didnt know that stripper clips load themselves, thanks for the insight
@By Allon did you not just watch him load it with a stripper clip?
But reloading a magazine it's more easy, right??
Now that's a quality video clip, Original, useful and educational. KZworld needs more of these, and less stupid silly gen-Z tiktoks.
It must be fantastic to have a private shooting range in the backyard and also be able to own and keep real guns.. I wish I lived in the US so I can enjoy my own shooting sessions and always toy with my own guns :(
Congratulations you have just demonstrated to the world the difference between a clip and a magazine.
I can keep watching this video over and over it's that awesome. The rifle is a work of art.
Yeah, I just love how it's so short, no long talking and just straight to the point
These are super hard to find in America. I wanted a semi auto 54r rifle but could not find one of these. I ended up getting a Molot Vepr instead and now those are also very hard to find. All Russian imports will be hens teeth pretty soon
That’s a real nice rifle❤
I don't know why but it's gratifying to load the bullets with that accessory.
Favorite Soviet rifle honestly. Glad you made a vid of it
SVT was beloved by Soviet navy and marines ( they called it "Sveta" softly) because it is more accurate and deadly on the distances then Mosin rifle, but was harder to maintain, which wasn't a problem for a skilled marine.
@quadroninja they didnt like dirt and werent as accurate as a mosin, but thats no reason to disregard the rifle
SKS all the way
@quadroninja this is very true, they were also very complicated to field strip, the Russian soldier always preferred the KISS method.
I knew it was a Soviet rifle when I saw the calour of the bullets.
Anyone else get those ASMR type tingles from all this?
Gee! I wish I lived in a country that allowed the people to own guns!
Well....I wanted to see the accuracy of each angle change! Lol 2nd shot almost missed, lower mid center right.... 8 shots, first 5 were far right edge, next 2 were neck and left shoulder, then last was heart location...dancing around the border keeps them alive, but the only shot that mattered, was the last...damn cell needs a slow video option, or the film maker lol 🍻🇨🇦
Now that's a sexy rifle.
I was just thinking that is sexy. Then I opened up comments.

Wait, you can clip load OR CHANGE MAG?!?! 🤤
Reminds me, after having a Yugoslavian SKS for about 25 years, I need to sight it in.
Beautiful piece of Soviet engineering.
Never fails to amaze me how simple the mechanism of a gun actually is seeing it up close
Uau!!! Nice gun Aimed at The chain? I am from Brazil.🇧🇷
its just beautiful like oh my heart ❤
Are 30 round clips still illegal for like an SKS or AR? Just curious.. 👍
I would love to have this weapon
Now this is good ASMR right here
@YTSN very cringey indeed, I suppose
@YTSN You saying "cringe" is even more cringe
Cringe
Ikr ..
Lol I was going to comment that this was gun ASMR. Shooter was also probably chilling till he hit the chain holding up the target!
Me : never saw a gun in real life Also me : watching how to load it 🌚
Gun asmr??? Now this is what I needed in life
The accuracy of this gun just makes you think of all people died
I love self loading ww2 rifles, their something else
The little writing in the ammunition pack is 'csomagolta' is referring to who packed it. (Hungarian)
@N. Mad packed by: "identification number"
Does that word means "Packed by" or does it refer to the name of a person who packed the ammo?
Még vissza is néztem gyorsba. ,,Hékás, az magyar szónak tűnt!" :D
Ezt a kommentet kerestem

You know men love guns when a short with 0 words gets 32 mil view and 1.3 mil likes
que sonido tan espectacular tiene el svt
chcę taką zabawkę
This is ASMR gold to my ears
Wow !! Didn't know that they had nuclear tips on bullets these days .
Wait a minute isn’t that suspiciously similar to an M1 Garand in function hmmm guess the Germans liked it so much that they made their own version of the M1😂
