  • Weirdly what if I told you... After 25 million years when our message reaches whoever is out there.. The person whoever out is would be actually a human, developed human and not the real us. Now that developed human would have never heard about us, but then it goes in to search for us (or themself)

  • Imagine the artists of the interstellar messages seeing their masterpieces being installed onto the probe, knowing that it is a message that they will extremely likely never here back from but having the hope that someone will see it. That’s meaningful.

  • If we sent out a craft, and it eventually began travelling at the speed of radio waves or such a thing, could we then send out said radio waves (or an alternative) at that exact speed, causing it to sit stationary, effectively making an everlasting location where the only thing that could break it would be physical interference?

    • Also, what if there is a machine that is able to explore the death of someone, like what happens to our thoughts? The machine follows that and get that thought back to a artificial body so that you are physically and mentally immortal? Big questions for me but this will be impossible, i wish the universe was less mysterious

  • (1:15) What will vsause do.. we’ll first he will make a video explaining what is happening. Two he will begin to use the scientific method to define the size of the comet and try to descover how to stop it. Three he will grab his info from the scientific method and and a bit of uranium and does over the he can make a anti comet missile with the help of The USA government to build said missile then he is going to calculate the exact moment the the comet is most vunible the send the missile and save everyone. Four make a video on it.

    • i think that’s kind of the point of the video. they can’t. they won’t. we’re just sending this message out there hoping to reach something, and in the end it’s not even important what.. like a message in a bottle floating at sea. what does it matter if, in the end, it reaches a crowded bay or a deserted island? we just wanted to get it out there so it proves (to us) we existed.

  • The Golden Record also contained the recorded brain waves and heart beats of a 27 year old woman in love with another woman's 43 year old man. She eventually broke that woman's marriage and stole her husband, adding another single mother to the world (the married couple had a child as well) . No message could have better shown to those aliens what a f...ed up nature humans posses. 😂 I imagine that this home wrecker feels immense pride that her heartbeats and brainwaves are the only such samples sent out into space to endure for billions of years. I cannot help but wonder if she contemplates the fact that it might be in fact her immorality, her selfishness which will endure for billions of years. 😂 Also, wouldn't have been equitable to also record the broken heart of the woman who lost her marriage? Wouldn't that have been a better perspective for the aliens over humans? Again, f...ed up human nature and all the evil we are capable of, from the small scale to the grand. The triangle I'm talking about is Sagan, his wife and his mistress.
