  • I’ve been following him for a couple years now before he came to UFC. So happy to see him finally rise up to where he’s at. He’s the hardest working fighter. His dominance is pure art from an elite artist.

    • @viper 444 Anything an happen in mma. Unfortunately that anything didn’t get Nate a belt in his whole career. His longest winning streak was only five fights and was in 2007-2008. He even knew he had no shot against Khamzat. Dana even said after that he’s glad that fight didn’t happen. Even though we all know Dana had to make Khamzat miss weight so they couldn’t fight. Dana would have had a lot of issues if Khamzat beat Nate badly on his last fight.

      Ryan BRyan B5 күн бұрын
    • @Dan O'Neall yeah, that's what I am saying. It's khamzat's fault for not making the weight, and Nate can shit talk him now throughout his life. If he had made weight and ragdoll him like he was supposed to then would this debate even exist?

      viper 444viper 4445 күн бұрын
    • @Ryan B Again, If only stats could have told the winner, why even make a card. It's MMA bro. TBH Nate might have lost against Tony too, but his corner asked Tony to go for a takedown. That one mistake is what I am talking about in any given situation.

    • @Χαράλαμπος who is the 170 champ now? Who had a 12 win streak and was looking unstoppable? Why are you being so sure that nate had zero percent to win? Even Justin corrected himself and said nate had only 1 percent chance to beat khamzat. You are comparing nations war to fighters. Looks like you are being ignorant.

    • @Its me Joe so your saying all he has is a gas tank and chin… those are two pretty good fucking things to have going for him. Lol I’d rather have a gas tank and a chin in ANY fight.

    • The scariest thing about the Gilbert fight is that he trained all camp on wrestling and BJJ defense, with striking/standup only secondary. And this against one of the best strikers in WW. And then he decided he'd stand with Burns just for the heck of it. That's why his coach yelled at him and told him to stick with the plan (take it to the ground) and not just stand and trade with Burns. But still he won that. Now if his secondary skill (striking) is that good, imagine how good overall he really is. Then you see what he did to Kevin and you kind of think about it. He really might be the second Khabib if he stays cool. Khabib was extremely disciplined and level headed, though he himself pulled something like this when he decided he'd trade for 5 rounds against Iaquinta. But he did that seeing it was working for him. The Burns standing game didn't really work that well for Khamzat. He did edge a victory, but not clear enough. But he showed he's truly the most dominant WW currently active.
