  • Doc seems like the kind of person where you annoyed him once in an elevator talking about bitcoin and NFTs and he spent the next year and a half systematically destabilizing the blockchain based economy to bring down every one of those systems in a spectacular way. Then chuckles to himself about it while watering his tomatoes.

  • I love the personal touches in this episode. The story of your child was so warming, and seeing your real life tomatoes was grounding. Out of all the youtubers I watch you have been continuously cultivating and creating what feels like a family of friends. While other people share personal details to show off, or to explain situations regarding their channel, this episode felt like sharing between friends. Between the fan art, and the hive mind and community connection through world downloads you have created something which is steadily becoming more than simply a Minecraft series. Love from Vermont.

  • Oh my gosh, Doc's episodes are always magical but this was insane. I wasn't around for S6 so I was like "Oh, that's a nice creeper farm. Are you just gonna drop some on Grian's head?" I was not expecting State-Of-The-Art (or should I say State-Of-The-GOAT) technology to send them off at lightning speeds in a piston-bolt (what even is a piston-bolt? I like your funny words, magic man! :p) to load them into a self-refilling chunk-loading magazine to propel them through the skies! Also, the IRL tomato cameo was amazing. Totally unexpected, but great.

  • Re: the bees issue. You might have the hive-mind look into the infrequency of night time on many servers especially hermitcraft. If developers originally coded them to return to the hive each night, perhaps their pathing algorithm really does accidentally let them wander farther and farther each day, or resets their wander distance on each skipped night, until their hive is no longer in loaded chunks they can even pathfind to once they have honey to return? Just a thought. I'd love to look at that code

    TheGreatKrystoffTheGreatKrystoffАй бұрын
    • I wonder too - the same thing happens with our free-range bees on our smp with the night-skipping sleep plugin as well. I'm so curious!

      Laura HerrmannLaura HerrmannАй бұрын
    • I'm on a server where we don't skip night... all my bees ended up in the nether! I have NO idea about how the heck their tracking works, but it's not to do with night, although your theory does sound plausible. What I did find though, whilst in the nether, all the bees worked their way up to the highest available point. This mean that when I dug a hole up to the block below the nether roof to enderpearl through, I now find that space is completely packed with bees! It's utterly bizarre. I cleared them all out at one point, and sure enough next time I went up there, full of bees again! Hardly any in my damn village!

    • No-sleep for the bees~!
