And this is one of the many reasons we love COLDPLAY. I watched it live in the cinema and cried my heart out. Love and energy to Iran from India. ❤‍🩹

As a person who lives in Iran and felt all of the things Shervin sang with my all...this made me cry so hard :)

This song became so important for the iranians. It speaks out of their souls and what they felt the last 40 years. He got arrested after he published the song and is only alive because he had to distance himself from the the song. This song needs to get heard worldwide and coldplay giving him their range is amazing. He can't sing that song anymore but the people in iran still do and so should the rest of the world.

My heart goes with you Iranian people. May you be strong to overcome this and get the freedom you deserve ❤ sending you love

Music is dangerous. When I re re re listen to this highly emotive song, I consciously remember to put a wall between my heart and mind. Music can make us blind and make us do things we shouldn’t do. Freedom needs strategy not emotion. Iranians used similar emotive songs to pursue their Islamic Revolution in 1979 to free them from their previous king who had accepted to change his way of ruling the country. Alas high emotions do not allow people to think.

Many countries have changed when Iran had the islamic revolution. Many people are suffering from it now. Women in my country (Bahrain) used to dress up normally including short skirts etc but now they all wear black and it’s depressing and hella sad. Wishing the Iranian people freedom
