What I want to know is it practical to use a classic restored car like that as a daily driver? I get it would be pricey for gas but I still would like to use one for a daily. Just wanting some opinions.

  • Hi Nick Super videos and an amazing job. I watched all of them dozens of times. I've been an original 60's corvette guy for almost 30 years, but want to get away from the original stuff...can enjoy a non original more perhaps. For #2 you built a 351 but in #3 you installed a 427. Your preference after doing both? Engine you plan for #4? Did you stroke the 351? Was the 427 a crate or did you build it yourself like the 351?. Sorry for all the questions, but admire your work you do. I'm getting the Mustang Bug!!!!

    Randy HiggisonRandy Higgison2 жыл бұрын
    • @FixItNick Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. At the risk of asking too many questions, were you able to drive the 427 stroker with 92 octane pumped gas? Maybe not a daily driver but could it still be a weekend cruiser? I thought about stroking a 351W but never considered all the way up to a 427. Pro / Cons?

      Randy HiggisonRandy Higgison2 жыл бұрын
    • Thanks man, I liked the 351w roller with a 427 stroker kit and heated timing chain (not timing chain) but every build I do is different, my current build will be back to basics and simpler Eleanor, more of a daily driver/track fun car
